Academics at Parkway

A comprehensive pathway from early curiosity to university readiness.

Education & Beyond

Our Learning Approach

ACADEMICEXCELLENCE

We follow the UK National Curriculum with high expectations at every stage. Our teachers plan lessons that challenge pupils to think, question, and apply their knowledge, not just recall it.

CHARACTERAND WELLBEING

Our pastoral programmes, PSHE curriculum, and daily culture are all designed to build resilience, emotional intelligence, and a strong adopt growth mindset.

LIFE BEYONDTHE CLASSROOM

Learning does not stop when the bell rings. Our co-curricular programme covers sport, the arts, technology, leadership, and community service.

We believe that the experiences pupils have outside the classroom are just as important as the ones inside it.

Early Years & Foundation Stage

The earliest years of a child’s life are the most formative. At parkway school, our Early Years programme is designed to give every child a joyful, secure, and stimulating start. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, which balances structured learning with child-led exploration.

Our classrooms are environment of wonder: reading corners, creative spaces, outdoor areas, and sensory learning that builds curiosity and confidence from day one.
